Stimulating The Economy.

We have spent the past month visiting with family and a few friends but our focus has been on preparing for our trip back to Eloy, Arizona to close on our winter home there and start settling into our new community at Robson Ranch. We sold our last house a little over two years ago and sold, donated or disposed of most of our property as we downsized into the mothership, a number of tools and a few keepsakes were stored in a 10 foot X 15 foot climate controlled storage space.

Stocking the new home has required a lot of planning and a good deal of spending as we purchased cloths, bedding, towels, lights and fans along with pots and pans to name but a few of the items we now have piled, stacked and tucked away in every nook and cranny of the mothership; we also have a pile of large boxes containing a new Sleep Number Bed and a base for our present Sleep Number taking up space in the campground’s storeroom (thanks to the kindness of the owner Norm). It is now time to begin moving everything 2,100 miles to Eloy.

Tomorrow morning we will pickup a rental truck and clean out our storage unit, Saturday we will add the items stored here in the ship and the campground, then bright and early Sunday morning we will begin our journey to Arizona. If all goes as planned we will be in Eloy next week to close on the house and begin moving into our home, stay tuned!

Good luck on your travels and moving into the new house. Hopefully, the builder/contractor will have the air on for you when you arrive. I hear it's quite hot in Arizona this time of year :)

Sounds like a BIG job ahead! We understand about refurnishing a home after getting rid of most things for full-timing. We kept it simple because we will still be traveling and didn't want to spend it all. LOL

You all travel safe!!
