Happy Birthday Dad.

We did some packing this morning before getting cleaned up for a birthday party for Sandy’s father. We drove into Chilton for the get together at the home of Sandy’s brother Mike, it was a small group of Leo’s children. It was important for us to be here to enjoy some of the day celebrating with Leo on his 89th birthday. We enjoyed some conversation and lunch with the group before we headed back to Reedsville to finish the final preparations for our trip. Happy Birthday Dad with wishes for many more!

Everyone including KoKo wishes Leo a happy birthday.

Back in Reedsville we finished our packing by filling up the truck and CRV; it is sure nice to have our living room back again, it had been full of items for the house. The basement of the mothership also has some more open space as we took this opportunity to remove some tools and decorations that we have been carrying while full-timing, these items can be stored at the house. We fueled the truck before connecting the trailer and loading the CRV. This evening we said goodbye to most of our friends here at Rainbow’s End, we will see them in about a month when we return.

John secures the CRV to the trailer, no problem here as we used a tow dolly when we purchased our first motorhome.

Ready to roll in the morning.
