We were up early this morning and managed to move another 322 miles closer to Reedsville, Wisconsin today. Traffic on I-80 was fairly sparse so we enjoyed an easy drive, the most traffic we encountered was at the fuel pumps when we stopped at a Pilot truck stop for a fill. We are going to hang out in Ogallala tomorrow and enjoy some hot and muggy weather before another big drive on Friday.
We almost had I-80 to ourselves this morning.
We climbed up to the snow before leaving Wyoming.
Orange Barrels!, one of my favorite songs.
No KoKo, Orange Barrels, not Orange Ball.
One last long climb.
Sandy took over after our fuel stop.
She got us to Nebraska and some flat terrain.
Sandy did another good job at the wheel today, we stopped for lunch at a rest stop and John drove the rest of the way.
Site “Lucky 13” at Country View Campground in Ogallala.
The “Country View” from our spot is nice, it even includes a John Deere dealer.

We stayed in that campground and went to the show that has local high school kids in a musical-it was really good!
What happened to all the trucks on I-80. It's always packed with trucks when we've driven on it. You guys are really making good progress. We drove 60 miles today. Maybe we'll shoot for 100 tomorrow. Be safe.
You are headed our direction. If you end up around Iowa City on the way through let us know. We are just north of there a few miles!
