Today was a travel day from North Salt Lake to Lyman Wyoming where we will spend the night at the Lyman KOA. Salt Lake was a great place to stay but it was time to move on today so we made the 140 mile drive up to Lyman. We had a great neighbor at Pony Express and last night Gil and Mary Ellen took us to the Leatherby Family Creamery on North Temple for ice cream; if you are in Salt Lake this place should be on your “to do” list, it was great.
After getting out of Salt Lake we drove I-80 to Lyman.
We saw a little of that Utah red rock.
The Union Pacific was moving freight today.
A nice view of the land and road ahead.
We had some wind today so these were spinning.
Nice view from a high spot.
We had a good trip and the short distance allowed us plenty of time to enjoy the cooler temperature here, for the first time in a while KoKo has had a perfect place to play ball. I think we managed to wear her down as she is sleeping on the step by the screen door.
Our site at the Lyman KOA.
Dancing with the dogs, please vote for couple #27.
Actually John throws and KoKo chases her ball.
We hope KoKo forgives us but tomorrow is another travel day, it will be a few more miles than today as we continue our journey.

Glad you had a safe trip to Lyman! Those uneventful trips are what we like. Nice scenery along the way too. :)
Love that pic of KoKo...you caught that at just the right moment with the wind blowing through her hair.
