It was another travel day today, we drove 175 miles to Rawlins Wyoming where we will spend the night at the Rawlins KOA; we may seem to be on a KOA kick but there isn’t much to choose from out here in cowboy country. We made a fuel stop today and something happened that we couldn’t remember ever taking place at the truck pumps, there was no place to insert the credit card so we picked up the nozzle, lifted the handle and the pump zeroed then started; generally they want to see the credit card and your first born before they turn on the pump.
Speaking of things that normally don’t happen (or shouldn’t happen), while we were staying at Pony Express in Salt Lake someone drove into the campground after dark and noticed a rather large women in a rather small RV doing her ironing, not to unusual you say, well, apparently she was ironing the clothes she should have been wearing because all she had on was a bra. Isn’t the function of day/night shades something that’s covered in RVing 101? As the person who told us said “there are thing’s you just can’t un-see”.
These were taken in the Flaming Gorge Area.
A strip mine next to I-80.
It takes a big shovel to dig a large hole.
Mostly we saw wide open spaces.
We arrived at the Rawlins KOA shortly before 2PM, which was a good thing as the campground really filled up this afternoon. This wasn’t a great place for KoKo as it’s mostly gravel and there isn’t much grass available to chase the ball. As I write this, a wrecker just towed a pickup and a camping trailer into a site near us; at least we had a better day than these folks.

Let's hope her boobies weren't hanging down as she ironed ;) hope she was rating attention to what she was doing.

The story of the lady ironing is hilarious!! Poor folk(s) that happen to see all of that...they're right you have a hard time trying to unsee those types of things.
Glad your trip was a good one and you arrived safely at your KOA of choice. Have fun!
