Day Off

We took a day off from touring today to do our chores. We did our weekly cleaning,  and almost had more to clean than we needed. This afternoon we did our shopping and looked for a restaurant where we wanted to eat.

This morning we took KoKo for a walk and Sandy started the weekly cleaning; while cleaning the bathroom she opened the shower and noticed that it had a few inches of water in it, a check of the kitchen sink showed the same! John had an Oh S#!% moment as he realized that he had left the grey water drain closed a couple days ago when he emptied the pooper tank; we normally leave the grey drain open as Sandy does a load of wash just about every day. When John empties the black tank he closes the grey valve first, well we were talking with one of our neighbors (Pat the rat), John drained, rinsed and closed the black tank but did not reopen the grey. We did not have a geyser but it was getting to that point.

This afternoon we did the weekly grocery shopping and picked up a bag of kibble for KoKo at Petsmart, we also stopped at Home Depot.  After shopping we were going to eat at a restaurant in Santee that was recommended by a friend but when our GPS got us there the restaurant was not, well there was another address nearby so four miles later we found an apartment building at that site, we decided to eat elsewhere and try again another day.

This weekend we hope to spend some time with one of Sandy’s brothers who is visiting his son in Las Vegas, they planned to drive down here to visit friends so we will be able to get together with them also.
