The 40 mile drive to Tucson went as planned on Thursday, we are at the Beaudry RV Resort where we will stay for the next two weeks. The drive was uneventful and we are on the south side of Tucson so we did not drive through town which helped. We arrived early enough that we had time to visit Camping World and then relax in the hot tub back at Beaudry.

We are staying at Beaudry because we had a HD Satellite System installed on the mothership today. We were up early this morning to disconnect and drive next door to Camping World to have the system installed. They estimated that it would take the entire day to do the installation so we were without a home base today, we took KoKo to the dog run and sat outside with our air card and booked our campground reservations through mid April. It was after 4:30PM before we had the system set up and we were parked back in our site.

As most of these types of jobs go, this did not go completely as planned. This morning the Technician from Beaudry RV and the Sales Person from Camping World met us at the mothership to discuss our plans, the technician brought the High Definition DVR and Receivers we wanted installed; when we put them in place two of the three did not fit in the cabinets where we wanted them. One of the receivers was installed on it’s side so it would fit but we had to change from a HD DVR to a standard DVR in order to fit it into the cabinet. Note to Direct TV, as small as electronics have gotten lately you would think that a receiver could be made smaller than the current models. Well all is well that ends well and tonight we are watching High Definition TV from our Winegard Traveler Direct TV antenna.
