We had decided that we would catch up on some work here at the mothership this morning so we could relax during the afternoon and watch the qualifying races at Daytona. Cleaning was on our agenda but we got more to clean than we planned on thanks to KoKo.
Sandy started the day by waxing the woodwork in the bedroom, she has been working her way through the mothership all week doing some cabinets each day. John started the day flushing out the pooper tank and regenerating our water softener, after that he put a filter on the drinking water faucet in the kitchen and then put a fastener on the mothership’s left front fender which was somewhat loose at the bottom.
The racing started before John got done with the vacuuming so Sandy took KoKo for a walk to the dog run while John finished his cleaning. Sandy was back a short time later with a dripping wet and very dirty dog; diva KoKo who never wants to get wet saw her ball on the opposite side of a large muddy puddle and took the express route through the dirty water rather than run around as she normally would.
Sandy had already planned to clean and groom KoKo on Saturday but decided to groom today as KoKo would be getting a bath. Sandy spent over two and a half hours this afternoon bathing, drying and grooming our little buddy, John helped a little but he was also helping a neighbor here in the park do some work on his trailer. Now this is the first time that Sandy has groomed KoKo by herself so let us know how she did.
Sandy’s handiwork, KoKo and the woodwork.
